Saya juga perintahkan Dandim Rembang untuk mengikuti pemeriksaan di Kodam," hasil pemeriksaan dan kroscek itu, lanjut dia, disimpulkan bahwa kejadian itu penamparan memang benar dan itu tidak pantas dilakukan oleh seorang prajurit. "Karena itu, kami mengambil sikap tegas dengan menonaktifkan Komandan Kodim 0720/Rembang," kejadian penamparan itu, Joni menyampaikan permohonan maafnya kepada seluruh kepala desa dan masyarakat Rembang.
